Senior Manager, Executive Talent Acquisition – Orthopedics

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete executive talent acquisition process for senior leadership and critical roles, covering intake, search strategy, assessment, and offer management.

• Collaborate with executive leaders and HR stakeholders to ensure executive hiring aligns with business strategy and succession planning priorities.

• Create and implement proactive executive sourcing strategies utilizing market intelligence, networking, and targeted outreach efforts.

• Provide guidance to senior leaders regarding executive talent markets, candidate evaluation, and hiring decisions.

• Manage relationships with external executive search firms and partners to ensure quality, consistency, and cost-effective outcomes.

• Maintain a high-touch, confidential, and inclusive candidate experience throughout the executive recruitment process.

• Assist in the development of the executive pipeline and succession planning in collaboration with HR and Talent Management teams.

• Promote continuous improvement in executive recruiting processes, governance, and performance metrics.

• When necessary, handle documentation, records management, compliance administration, filings, audits, and Veeva scanning/naming locally.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.

• A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

• Typically 8–10 years of progressive experience in executive recruiting, talent acquisition, or senior-level HR positions.

• Proven experience leading executive searches within complex, global organizations.

• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and advise senior leadership effectively.

• Proficiency in executive sourcing, assessment, and candidate evaluation methodologies.

• Experience in managing executive search firms and external partners.

• Preferred experience in supporting C-suite, VP, and senior leadership hiring.

• Background in medical devices, life sciences, or highly regulated sectors is preferred.

• Experience aiding organizational transformations, separations, or M&A activities is preferred.

• Familiarity with executive compensation, governance, and approval processes is preferred.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and confidentiality capabilities.

• Strong change management and consulting mindset.

• Fluent English is required.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

• Executive recruiting or HR certifications are preferred.
