
Senior Manager, Events & Field Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and manage TCP’s annual event and field marketing strategy, ensuring alignment of investments with target industries, enterprise accounts, products, and revenue goals.
• Oversee a portfolio of around 50–60 conferences, trade shows, association events, and industry programs.
• Design and implement targeted field marketing initiatives, such as executive dinners, regional events, prospect and customer roundtables, partner programs, and account-focused experiences.
• Assess and prioritize opportunities based on audience suitability, account concentration, brand value, demand potential, and anticipated return.
• Collaborate with the ABM, Demand Generation, Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Partnerships, and Brand teams to weave events into unified go-to-market campaigns.
• Create programs that engage enterprise buying committees, generate new opportunities, expedite active pipelines, and enhance relationships within key accounts.
• Set clear objectives, identify target audiences, compile account lists, craft messaging, establish activation plans, define meeting goals, develop follow-up actions, and create measurement frameworks.
• Design unique experiences that bolster TCP’s reputation as a leader in workforce management and optimization within targeted industries.
• Involve customers, executives, partners, influencers, and industry experts in programs through panels, peer discussions, thought leadership, and customer advocacy.
• Manage program execution encompassing sponsorships, contracts, budgets, vendors, logistics, booth experiences, staffing, promotions, lead capture, and follow-up coordination.
• Supervise the event and field marketing budget, reallocating resources toward programs that deliver the highest strategic and financial returns.
• Generate reports that evaluate account engagement, audience quality, meetings, pipeline creation, pipeline influence, opportunity progression, and return on investment.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and advise on whether programs should be scaled, redesigned, minimized, or discontinued.
• Develop scalable planning processes, timelines, playbooks, and accountability mechanisms across Marketing and Sales.
• Ensure all external programs adhere to TCP’s brand standards, positioning, messaging, and customer experience expectations.
• Over 7 years of experience in B2B event marketing, field marketing, account-based marketing, demand generation, or a similar go-to-market role.
• Proven experience managing a substantial portfolio of external conferences, trade shows, industry events, and field marketing initiatives.
• Demonstrated capability to craft event and field marketing strategies for enterprise or complex B2B sales cycles.
• Understanding of account-based marketing and how field programs engage buying committees, generate pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and grow strategic accounts.
• Experience in developing executive dinners, roundtables, peer forums, regional programs, and other targeted initiatives.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with detailed, hands-on execution across multiple concurrent programs.
• Experience in direct collaboration with Sales leaders, account executives, business development teams, customer teams, and executives.
• Strong financial and analytical abilities, including budget management, investment prioritization, performance analysis, and ROI assessment.
• Experience in negotiating sponsorships, vendor agreements, venues, and event services.
• Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, marketing automation, account-based marketing platforms, event technology, and project management tools is preferred.
• Experience in workforce management, HR technology, enterprise software, or B2B SaaS is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to support key industry and field marketing programs.
• Physical Requirements: Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally. Should be able to stand and walk for extended periods during conferences and events. Travel is expected to be around 30–40%, including occasional evenings and weekends based on the event schedule.
