This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement enterprise physical security programs across over 400 company sites
• Enforce corporate security policies, standards, and procedures while ensuring consistent compliance
• Drive enterprise physical security initiatives and operational enhancements
• Provide insights to senior leadership regarding physical security risks and opportunities for mitigation
• Collaborate with Information Technology, Operations, Facilities, Human Resources, Risk Management, Legal, and Executive Leadership
• Oversee daily physical security operations for employees, visitors, facilities, and company assets
• Organize security risk assessments and assist with remediation efforts
• Administer access control systems, visitor management platforms, and physical identity and access management programs
• Supervise employee, contractor, vendor, and visitor badging and access authorization
• Evaluate physical access rights and facility security controls
• Manage CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, and security monitoring technologies
• Suggest enhancements to security technology
• Oversee asset protection programs for facilities, inventory, equipment, and technology assets
• Collaborate with IT on safeguarding critical technology environments
• Lead investigations into theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and property loss
• Conduct security-related investigations and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders
• Maintain emergency response and business continuity procedures
• Ensure proper reporting, documentation, and follow-up for security incidents
• Assist with security audits, assessments, and remediation initiatives
• Manage approved operating budgets, vendor relationships, and contract security services
• Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in physical security, asset protection, law enforcement, military security, or related fields
• 3-5 years of leadership experience overseeing enterprise-wide security operations across multiple geographically diverse locations
• Experience supporting large organizations with numerous facilities and varied operational environments
• Proven experience with access control, badging, CCTV, investigations, emergency management, and security technology platforms
• Experience in developing security standards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing enterprise security programs
• Strong knowledge of the nexus between physical security, technology security, and business risk management
• Experience managing security budgets, vendor relationships, and contract security services
• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise physical security principles, methodologies, and best practices
• In-depth knowledge of access control systems, surveillance technologies, alarms, badging systems, and visitor management platforms
• Familiarity with physical asset protection, loss prevention, investigations, and incident management
• Understanding of physical security needs for technology infrastructure, data centers, and critical business systems
• Strong risk assessment, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated capacity to develop and execute enterprise-wide security strategies
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
• Strong project management, budget management, and vendor management skills
• Capability to respond effectively during emergencies and high-pressure situations
• Proficiency with security technologies, security reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
• Must be able to conduct facility inspections and security assessments in office, industrial, warehouse, retail, healthcare, or operational environments
• Commitment to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• May be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when visiting operational locations
• Required CISSP certification
• CPP certification, or ability to obtain within the first year
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to company locations as needed
