Senior Manager, ELS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Instructional Designers.

• Provide performance feedback, management, and career development assistance.

• Enhance team capabilities and foster employee engagement.

• Supervise the design, development, prioritization, and delivery of enterprise learning solutions.

• Manage eLearning, instructor-led training, videos, multimedia content, job aids, performance support tools, and knowledge resources.

• Collaborate with Operations, subject matter experts, and business leaders to pinpoint performance gaps.

• Create scalable learning solutions that align with organizational priorities and business objectives.

• Ensure that learning content adheres to quality, consistency, effectiveness, and scalability standards.

• Oversee multiple learning initiatives, timelines, milestones, resources, and deliverables.

• Communicate project statuses, outcomes, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

• Utilize learning and business performance data to assess program effectiveness.

• Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to measure learning outcomes, adoption rates, and business impact.

• Enhance learning programs, processes, and delivery methods.

• Stay updated on learning technologies, instructional design methodologies, artificial intelligence, and industry trends.

• Promote the adoption of innovative learning technologies and best practices.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Business, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.

• At least three (3) years of experience in leading and developing professional teams.

• Experience in leading enterprise-wide learning initiatives is preferred.

• Background in collision repair, automotive, retail, or multi-location operations is preferred.

• Proven leadership, coaching, performance management, and talent development skills.

• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation abilities.

• Strong project management, organizational, and time management capabilities.

• Ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.

• Technical proficiency with learning technologies, content development tools, and emerging technologies.

• Understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, and learning effectiveness practices.

• Capability to integrate artificial intelligence and emerging technologies into learning solutions and processes.

• High level of initiative, creativity, accountability, and commitment to ongoing improvement.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
