Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineering teams to strategize, prioritize, and deliver high-quality software within deadlines.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, refinement sessions, retrospectives, and sprint demonstrations.

• Monitor delivery progress, identify risks early, and ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned.

• Decompose product initiatives into actionable and well-defined engineering tasks.

• Work alongside Product Owners for roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and release scheduling.

• Coordinate with the broader VA.gov ecosystem to manage dependencies and synchronize efforts.

• Prepare reports and updates that communicate team value to clients and leadership.

• Promote accountability, clear communication, and ongoing improvement.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing software delivery within an Agile setting, preferably on federal programs.

• Familiarity with VA.gov platform standards or other similar federal digital services is advantageous.

• Strong facilitation abilities.

• Capability to work across various disciplines, effectively translating between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to establish structure and clarity.

• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.

• Ability to excel in a remote, collaborative work environment.

• Strong and open communication skills.

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
