Senior Manager, Digital Asset & Loan Accounting

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the month-end closing process related to loan accounting and digital asset transactions.

• Supervise the accounting for loan origination, servicing, and sales, in addition to crypto and wallet-related transactions.

• Oversee reconciliations involving loans, custodial records, and blockchain-based assets.

• Collaborate with Product and Data teams to align product workflows with the ledger and enhance data integrity.

• Propel automation initiatives for reporting, reconciliations, and transaction monitoring.

• Ensure the maintenance of accounting policies, controls, and documentation in collaboration with Technical Accounting.

• Assist in the launch of new products by designing scalable accounting solutions.

• Lead and nurture a high-performing accounting team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial position (experience in loan accounting, fintech, or fast-paced environments is preferred).

• Solid understanding of loan accounting and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.

• Proven track record in managing reconciliations and audits at scale within a high-volume setting.

• Experience in designing or enhancing accounting systems and workflows, rather than merely operating within existing structures.

• Familiarity with digital assets, cryptocurrencies, or blockchain systems is preferred but not mandatory.

• Demonstrated capability to collaborate across functions and optimize processes.

• Strong systems-oriented mindset with proficiency in handling large data sets.

• Previous experience in managing people.
