Head of International Shared Services Center – Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Establishing and Scaling the SSC: Creating a centralized accounting hub for an international organization venturing into new markets.

• Standardization & Compliance: Guaranteeing high-quality, timely accounting processes in accordance with Group policies and international standards (IFRS).

• Process Modernization: Streamlining primary document workflows, master-data directories (following ISO 8000 principles), and cost allocation methodologies.

• Fast Close & Reporting: Overseeing month-end closing schedules, ensuring complete reconciliation of intragroup transactions, and preparing consolidation packages.

• Efficiency & Robotization: Identifying manual processes for "quick wins" (RPA, light automation) and decreasing execution time for recurring activities by 30-70%.

• Partner Management: Collaborating with local outsourcing providers to ensure precise tax filing and statutory reporting.

• Quality Control: Providing monthly reports to the Group CFO on accounting quality, error rates, and team productivity dashboards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.

• Demonstrated success in mid-level or senior management roles within Shared Service Centers (SSC) of international firms.

• Oversaw accounting support for at least 5 active operating companies across various jurisdictions.

• Extensive knowledge of IFRS and hands-on experience in preparing reporting packages and managing complex accounting transformations.

• Proven history of enhancing productivity through automation, standardization, and robotization.

• Experience in managing large teams (current structure includes 4 teams with up to 50 employees in total).

• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

• Proficient in English.
