Senior Manager – Development Accounting Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee engagement workflow and manage project timelines.

• Coordinate development accounting processes from pre-development to project completion.

• Evaluate project budgets, development cost schedules, and sources and uses statements.

• Support financial modeling and transaction analysis efforts.

• Organize investor and lender reporting obligations.

• Track project expenditures and ensure compliance with financing requirements.

• Assess supporting documentation for cost certification and tax credit calculations.

• Lead the accounting team assigned to the engagement.

• Engage in project status meetings and provide updates to management.

⛳️ Requirements

• CPA designation is preferred.

• At least 7 years of experience in accounting.

• Background in affordable housing, real estate development, or public housing accounting is essential.

• Excellent project management and analytical abilities.
