This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and allocations.
• Manage customer and supplier accounts, ensuring accurate entry and follow-up on invoices and payments.
• Validate the accuracy of accounting and analytical allocations on supplier invoices.
• Monitor and track necessary supporting documents for Procurement and Spendesk cards.
• Execute administrative support for the accounting department, including supplier file management and archiving.
• Suggest and assist in the implementation of process and workflow enhancements.
• Foster a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge and maintaining strong professional relationships within the team.
• Manage employee expenses and travel: review and validate expense reports, business travel expenses, team event costs, and commitments for reimbursable expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable tax regulations.
• Education: Master’s degree in finance or accounting (from a business school, engineering school, or university).
• Relevant experience in a similar position, ideally at a prestigious accounting firm or within a rapidly growing start-up/scale-up environment.
• Personal attributes: pragmatic, detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to develop within a close-knit team.
• Highly organized, attentive to details, and capable of effective prioritization.
• Strong understanding of French accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting software such as SAP Business ByDesign is advantageous.
• Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written).
