This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct both buy-side and sell-side accounting as well as financial due diligence projects.
• Cultivate relationships with clients and engage in meaningful interactions with executives of target companies.
• Conduct quality of earnings assessments and working capital evaluations.
• Identify and assess factors that may influence enterprise value and the pricing of purchases or sales.
• Analyze financial and operational trends of target organizations.
• Effectively communicate our due diligence findings, both verbally and in writing.
• Supervise a team of professionals, prioritize tasks, and act as a hands-on leader throughout engagements from start to finish.
• Engage in performance evaluations and contribute to new business development initiatives.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, or a related business field.
• A minimum of 8 years in a professional services environment, including at least 5 years of direct experience in Financial Due Diligence, along with a background in audit, financial reporting, or CFO roles (preferably from a Big 4, National, or large Regional CPA firm).
• Advanced Degree or relevant professional certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, along with data analysis/mining and critical thinking capabilities.
• Experience collaborating with Private Equity groups is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as necessary (expected to be less than 15%).
