This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of IT professionals through recruitment, coaching, prioritization, performance management, and skill enhancement.
• Advocate for outstanding customer service throughout all IT interactions, ranging from help desk tickets to requests from executives.
• Oversee the essential corporate IT stack, which includes Microsoft 365, Entra ID, identity/IAM tools, endpoint management, EDR, and ITSM/ticketing systems.
• Develop and enhance IT governance, incorporating access controls, change management, provisioning/de-provisioning, and scalable documentation practices.
• Manage the identity lifecycle, including account provisioning/deprovisioning and role-based access governance across business systems.
• Direct the device lifecycle strategy, which encompasses procurement, imaging, deployment, recovery, and retirement.
• Uphold the security posture of endpoints.
• Establish IT capacity planning, documentation, and continuity practices.
• Collaborate with InfoSec on security and compliance initiatives, including ISO 27001 and HITRUST, in addition to handling client security questionnaires and audits.
• Work in partnership with department and business leaders to translate objectives and project requirements into IT priorities.
• Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, renewals, and the Corporate IT budget/spending.
• Represent IT in cross-departmental planning for tools, integrations, and company-wide initiatives.
• Streamline redundant or fragmented tools and create processes for intake and evaluation of technology requests.
• Promote ticket deflection, self-service, AI-assisted support, and workflow automation to minimize ticket volume and expedite resolution times.
• Report on IT operations metrics, including ticket volume, SLAs, automation adoption, and project delivery, to leadership.
• Own the operational cadence of Corporate IT, which includes weekly operations reviews, IT/InfoSec coordination meetings, monthly governance reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
• 8+ years of advancing IT experience.
• 3+ years of direct management and development of an IT team, including hiring, coaching, delegating, and overseeing performance.
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and identity/access management.
• Experience in endpoint management (MDM) and EDR tools for both Windows and iOS devices.
• Familiarity with an ITSM/ticketing platform, preferably one that has been owned or extensively operated at scale.
• Proven track record of building or enhancing IT governance, security, and compliance programs in a regulated or rapidly growing SaaS environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, HITRUST, SOC 2, and HIPAA-related requirements.
• Demonstrated success in driving ticket deflection and implementing AI-assisted IT automation with quantifiable results.
• Strong skills in cross-functional partnerships.
• Experience using GenAI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor within a corporate technology setting.
• Experience managing vendors, software licensing, and IT budgets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Sound judgment in environments where priorities and risks change rapidly.
• Strongly preferred: experience in an established, mature corporate technology environment and recent involvement in a PE-backed, SaaS, mid-market, high-growth company.
• Strongly preferred: experience in healthcare, insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Strongly preferred: experience assisting enterprise client security questionnaires, audits, or vendor risk assessments.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Limited travel requirements, estimated at 1 to 2 weeks per year.
