Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement – 75% Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Facilitating the strategic planning and alignment process through Hoshin Kanri.

• Collaborating with planning leaders and participants to create A3 charters for implementing initiatives.

• Applying Value Stream Mapping and Extended VSM for the reorganization of business processes.

• Leading project management teams to develop future state VSM plans.

• Offering leadership and guidance to specialists focused on continuous improvement.

• Acting as a Lean Trainer for all components of the Hubbell Manufacturing System.

• Overseeing process analysis and pinpointing areas that require enhancement.

• Directing change management efforts for the successful adoption of initiatives.

• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior executives to secure support.

• Partnering with Plant Leadership to launch the HMS Performance Management program.

• Utilizing data and KPIs to assess the success of improvement initiatives.

• Managing a portfolio of improvement projects that align with organizational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Industrial/Manufacturing/Process Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• 15 to 20 years of relevant experience is required.

• A minimum of 10 years in a Continuous Improvement / Lean / Six Sigma role is required.

• At least 4 years of experience in a technical leadership position with strong management and leadership capabilities is required.

• Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred.

• Experience in implementing continuous improvements and improvement systems is essential.

• Demonstrated time management skills: ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

• Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

• Preferred skills in process improvement and data analysis.
