This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Create and implement a comprehensive, multi-channel consumer content strategy that aligns with broader brand and business objectives, acting as the executive stakeholder and strategic leader of our brand podcast.
• Develop, manage, and share a centralized master content calendar to ensure visibility across functions, break down silos, and synchronize content releases with significant product launches and marketing initiatives.
• Lead the production of diverse content across written, video, and audio formats, with a strategic emphasis on growing the video content library while occasionally proposing and producing original works.
• Actively engage in writing and producing high-quality content personally, striking a balance between strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
• Guide and oversee a small, adaptive team of internal content writers and occasional external freelancers.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Customer Experience, and Lifecycle Marketing teams to enhance integrated marketing campaigns that foster awareness and drive conversions.
• Track, assess, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to content effectiveness, such as traffic, engagement, retention, and conversion rates.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in content strategy, information architecture, or content operations specifically within a DTC/B2C setting.
• At least 1-2 years of experience managing direct reports or contractors.
• Demonstrated experience in designing intricate, multi-channel editorial calendars and content matrices spanning written, video, and audio formats.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management.
• A willingness to explore and experiment with generative AI.
• A solid understanding of customer journey mapping, content management systems (CMS), and the influence of content architecture on SEO and user experience.
