This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead a team comprising content marketers, copywriters, and SEO specialists.
• Take ownership of search strategy and its execution in both SEO and AI answer engines.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize AI workflows related to research, content creation, and performance measurement.
• Establish the voice, tone, and editorial standards for all content.
• Manage content throughout the entire customer journey, which includes campaign creatives, thought leadership pieces, articles, and landing pages.
• Audit, refresh, retire, and rebuild existing published pages as necessary.
• Evaluate visibility across search and AI answer engines, utilizing performance and demand data to enhance outcomes.
• Oversee content distribution across various platforms including web, social media, paid advertisements, creative campaigns, and external platforms.
• Keep abreast of changes in search engines and answer engines, as well as shifts in buyer research behavior.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in content marketing, search marketing, copywriting, creative strategy, or a combination thereof, including leadership of teams.
• Outstanding storytelling and editorial abilities.
• Knowledge of how Google and LLMs like ChatGPT locate, assess, and cite sources.
• A data-driven mindset regarding content priorities, messaging, and reporting on business impact.
• Proven experience in developing AI workflows without compromising quality.
• Familiarity with the limitations of AI tools and the scenarios where human judgment is essential.
• Strong leadership capabilities and experience in managing direct reports.
• Proficient in articulating a vision and securing buy-in from peers, leadership, and external partners.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• A track record of successfully executing content programs on a large scale.
• Experience in B2B, SaaS, or technology sectors is advantageous.
• Must possess legal eligibility to work in the country of application without the need for sponsorship.
