This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implementation and Governance of Operating Model: Execute and operationalize the integrated Logistics & OL Engagement Scheduling operating model globally across congresses.
• Leadership in Global Programs & Portfolios: Offer executive-level supervision for Tier 1 congresses and selected Tier 2 programs across different regions and therapeutic areas.
• Leadership of People & Organizational Development: Directly oversee and cultivate a team tasked with executing Congress Logistics and OL scheduling.
• Financial Oversight & Vendor Governance: Manage consolidated global congress logistics and OL engagement budgets across the portfolio.
• Governance of OL Engagement Scheduling: Ensure compliance with enterprise standards for OL engagement scheduling.
• Compliance, Governance & Risk Oversight: Guarantee adherence to SOPs, playbooks, and governance frameworks that support global congress operations.
• Data, Analytics & Executive Reporting: Supervise the collection and evaluation of congress performance metrics.
• Doctorate degree with 2 years of congress management experience OR Master’s degree with 4 years of congress management experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of congress management experience OR Associate’s degree with 10 years of congress management experience OR High school diploma/GED with 12 years of congress management experience.
• 8–12 years of experience in congress operations within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
• Proven leadership in managing global or multi-region congress portfolios.
• Experience in facilitating both Commercial and Medical congress execution.
• Extensive knowledge of compliance standards for congresses supported by commercial funding.
• Strong financial acumen, including large-scale forecasting and ROI analysis capabilities.
• Proven ability to execute within scalable operating models while driving continuous improvement.
• Excellent executive communication and influence abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in congress management technologies (SAP, Workday, Cvent, CRM platforms, analytics tools).
