Senior Manager, Commitment Desk – Capital Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations of the Commitment Desk, ensuring prompt and precise execution of locks and pricing.

• Manage and nurture a high-performing, globally distributed team, including direct supervision of managers and team leaders.

• Develop team structure, capacity planning, and performance management systems to achieve volume and SLA objectives, including hiring, coaching, succession planning, and employee engagement.

• Foster accountability through established KPIs, quality benchmarks, and operational governance routines.

• Act as the escalation point for intricate pricing, eligibility, and loan-level decisions.

• Supervise production validation, lock accuracy, and pipeline prioritization.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Capital Markets, Sales, Operations, and Underwriting to align priorities and address issues.

• Lead and implement process enhancements, automation, and transformation initiatives to boost efficiency and scalability.

• Provide leadership visibility through reporting, metrics, and executive-level communication regarding performance and risks.

• Assist in client onboarding, bid tape execution, and optimization of pricing platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• At least 7 years of experience in Capital Markets, Commitment Desk, or Pricing Operations.

• Over 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in a high-volume setting.

• In-depth knowledge of mortgage banking and pricing execution.

• Experience with pricing tools (e.g., Compass Analytics) is preferred.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
