Senior Manager, Commercial Sales Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive commercial sales operating model, encompassing lead intake through to closure, forecasting, and commission disbursement.

• Define and oversee the sales operating rhythm, which includes pipeline evaluations, forecast discussions, and performance reviews.

• Set standards for pipeline coverage, stage definitions, and data accuracy.

• Proactively identify revenue risks and provide insights to sales leadership.

• Act as the business lead for Salesforce and associated sales technologies.

• Manage CRM configuration, data integrity, reporting structures, and user engagement.

• Collaborate with IT and Finance on system improvements, integrations, and data alignment.

• Assess, suggest, and spearhead the implementation of sales productivity and automation tools.

• Own executive dashboards that track pipeline, bookings, forecast accuracy, and overall productivity.

• Examine funnel performance, closure rates, sales cycle trends, and representative effectiveness.

• Collaborate with Finance for forecast alignment and commission management.

• Provide reliable weekly and monthly reports on commercial performance.

• Assist in quota and territory modeling alongside sales leadership.

• Maintain territory and mapping tools to enhance seller efficiency.

• Work with Marketing and Business Development on campaign tracking and performance evaluation.

• Serve as the primary commercial operations liaison for Sales, Finance, Marketing, and IT.

• Ensure coherence between sales activities, revenue reporting, and compensation results.

• May lead analysts or administrators, with expected team expansion as the organization grows.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce administration and reporting.

• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to convert data into executive-level insights.

• Proven experience working alongside senior sales leadership.

• Preferred experience in supporting SMB or field-based commercial sales teams.

• Background in telecom, fiber, or infrastructure sectors.

• Experience in high-growth or private-equity-backed environments.
