This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.
• Act as a strategic financial partner for 3E’s Commercial division.
• Convert financial and commercial performance data into forward-looking insights and actionable recommendations.
• Develop financial models that link Commercial KPIs to Annual Contract Value (ACV) and revenue projections.
• Direct financial analysis for key initiatives through scenario analysis and cost-benefit modeling.
• Manage the bookings and ACV forecast bridge, aligning Salesforce pipeline forecasts with finance forecasts.
• Offer transparency from bookings to ACV to recognized revenue, encompassing signed-not-live business.
• Create analytics for Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and Gross Revenue Retention (GRR) focusing on churn, downsell, price realization, and regional cohorts.
• Formulate unit economics including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), CAC payback, segment and channel performance, and cost-to-serve metrics.
• Model sales compensation and quota economics, addressing plan design, quota capacity, attainment, commission accruals, and sensitivity analysis.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations on annual planning and evaluate financial impacts.
• Lead and enhance the monthly close process, Commercial reforecasting, and annual budgeting.
• Create scalable reporting, forecasting, and analytical frameworks.
• Utilize AI-driven insights to enhance predictability and uncover tactical opportunities.
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A leadership, Sales Operations, vendors, and technology teams.
• Assist in the development and configuration of the order-to-cash technology stack.
• 2–5+ years of progressive experience in commercial and financial roles supporting senior leadership within a high-growth or subscription-based organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, statistics, or a related discipline.
• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and enterprise planning tools such as NetSuite or NSPB.
• Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to synthesize complex information and communicate with executive-level clarity.
• Experience with CRM and commercial tools like Salesforce.
• Ability to influence cross-functional partners, foster accountability, and navigate effectively through ambiguity.
• Must reside in the U.S. in one of the states where 3E is authorized to hire.
