This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take ownership of the CBR & FCRA risk governance program and act as a subject matter expert on CDIA, Metro 2, FCRA, and Reg V.
• Manage credit reporting policies, procedures, workflows, and process mappings.
• Direct the creation, data-quality scrubbing, auditing, and monthly submission of Metro 2 files to four major CRAs.
• Supervise Credit Bureau Disputes Management, monitoring lifecycle tracking and resolving data-furnishing exceptions.
• Lead troubleshooting initiatives, system checks, and root-cause analysis to rectify errors prior to reporting.
• Oversee exception inputs related to Bankruptcy, Deceased Scans, Repossessions, and Debt Sales.
• Manage, mentor, and develop Dispute Analysts; oversee KPIs, dispute response SLAs, and quality assurance audits.
• Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements, automation, and scalable compliance controls.
• Maintain an inventory of issues to enhance dispute workflows, data updates, and operational efficiency.
• Advocate for company culture, change management, and collaboration across departments.
• Bachelor’s Degree followed by over 7 years of professional experience in a Consumer Lending-focused organization, particularly in leading a FCRA/Metro 2-related function.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role managing Line of Business Process requirements for Monthly FCRA file transmission.
• Proven experience working directly with FCRA Compliance and credit bureau disputes, including enterprise-level process management and oversight of related outputs.
• Familiarity with consumer financial laws and regulations, including but not limited to ECOA, TCPA, FCRA, TILA, UDAAP, FDCPA, etc.
• Experience managing the eOscar dispute platform at an enterprise level.
• Strong understanding of consumer loan underwriting, servicing, collections, and vendor relations with major Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs), along with the ability to independently manage processes under strict regulatory deadlines.
• Proficient in analyzing large datasets for compliance with criteria, possessing a solid understanding of software development concepts and practical experience using LoanPro.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume work queues and multidisciplinary tasks, enhancing team performance while adjusting effectively to evolving software, guidelines, and processes.
