This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.
• Take ownership of the governance for procurement and raw material planning master data.
• Ensure adherence to corporate standards, policies, and procedures related to data.
• Oversee and enhance compliance with procurement, planning, and Accounts Payable processes across various locations.
• Create KPIs, scorecards, and governance routines to evaluate data quality and process efficiency.
• Identify underlying causes and implement corrective measures to diminish recurring issues.
• Manage material and vendor master data, purchasing organizations/groups, MRP parameters, lead times, safety stock, reorder points, subcontracting, and BOM planning data.
• Assist in governance for the Accounts Payable process and continuous improvement projects.
• Supervise blocked invoices, GR/IR discrepancies, payment holds, and invoice exceptions.
• Monitor invoice processing, supplier disputes, aging transactions, and performance KPIs related to payments.
• Aid in month-end and quarter-end closing activities associated with AP processes.
• Lead periodic reviews of invoice exceptions, outstanding purchase orders, unmatched receipts, and aged transactions.
• Establish and oversee metrics and controls for data quality.
• Perform audits, root-cause analyses, and develop corrective action plans.
• Optimize inventory parameters and replenishment settings in collaboration with planning teams.
• Propel planning standardization and governance initiatives across locations.
• Facilitate reviews concentrating on planning performance, inventory status, and exception management.
• Act as the SAP business lead for master data governance activities.
• Support ERP, planning systems, and digital transformation projects.
• Spearhead efforts for process simplification, standardization, and ongoing improvement.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, controls, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Operations, Finance, IT, third-party suppliers, and Master Data teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Master Data, or ERP systems.
• Proven expertise with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP solutions.
• Experience in data governance, master data management, and process improvement across functions.
• Preferred experience in supporting procurement, third-party manufacturing, and P2P/AP processes.
• Relevant certifications such as SAP MM, SAP MDG, CPIM, CSCP, or CDMP are preferred.
• Technical proficiency with SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, Master Data Management, Supply Planning Systems, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Data Governance Frameworks, P2P, AP, GR/IR, Invoice Management, Process Mapping, and Continuous Improvement.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols, PPE standards, and site-specific regulations when visiting operational sites.
