Data Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in complying with Joint Resolution No. 18 by supporting activities related to the governance of regulatory data assets.

• Identify and map transactional databases that facilitate the organization’s regulatory reporting.

• Recognize and document essential data objects involved in regulatory processes.

• Map and document technical owners, custodians, and other stakeholders accountable for data assets.

• Aid in the cataloging of transactional assets within the corporate data governance platform.

• Complete and enhance the technical and business metadata for cataloged assets.

• Establish and implement naming, classification, and description standards for transactional databases and data objects.

• Support documentation, traceability, and governance activities concerning regulatory assets.

• Facilitate collaboration among Architecture, Engineering, Data, Support, and business teams.

• Prepare supporting materials, technical documentation, and progress reports for the initiative.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Data Governance, Data Administration, or Data Architecture.

• Experience in gathering and documenting corporate data assets.

• Familiarity with data cataloging processes and metadata management.

• Understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.

• Experience in identifying and analyzing transactional databases and their interrelations.

• Knowledge of metadata, data catalogs, and data lineage concepts.

• Proven experience working with technical and business teams to collect and validate information.

• Experience with regulatory compliance, risk management, or corporate governance initiatives is advantageous.

• Experience in large-scale environments with multiple enterprise systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or a related field.
