IT Governance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Executing and overseeing adherence to IT governance requirements, especially in relation to an ISMS in line with ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 22301, DORA, and other regulatory mandates.

• Serving as a liaison among IT Governance, IT Security, IT Operations, and IT Development.

• Converting regulatory and conceptual needs into actionable technical and organizational strategies.

• Assisting in the implementation of IT security measures in collaboration with IT teams.

• Composing and updating guidelines, policies, process documentation, and instructions as part of IT governance.

• Keeping abreast of regulatory and technological advancements.

• Drafting, evaluating, and modifying proposals for the implementation of new regulatory standards.

• Aiding in internal and external audits and following up on identified actions.

• Managing tasks associated with the organizational structure of a digital insurance firm and its subsidiaries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in an IT organization or an auditing/consulting firm focusing on IT governance, IT security, cybersecurity, or information security.

• (Advanced) knowledge and a current, cross-functional understanding of regulatory IT requirements, methods, and frameworks (e.g., DORA, KRITIS).

• A basic technical understanding of IT and software architecture is preferable.

• Relevant academic qualifications (e.g., business informatics, computer science, or a related field).

• Attention to detail and a strong sense of reliability.

• A hands-on approach, teamwork spirit, and excellent communication abilities.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken German.
