• Effectively address critical staffing challenges in collaboration with senior leadership by implementing innovative staffing solutions and alternatives in a timely manner, taking into account engagement requirements and staff development goals.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of capabilities, products, and delivery methodologies within your designated business units to align the right talent with the appropriate project at the optimal time.
• Conduct regular staffing meetings to coordinate integrated and cross-capability staffing solutions.
• Enhance utilization in the assigned business unit by consistently monitoring forecasts and bench resources, and proposing creative solutions to optimize capacity and reduce availability.
• Oversee pipeline management, track demands from sold projects, and engage in the forecasting process to enhance understanding of business demand drivers.
• Attain proficiency in resource management systems and tools to effectively generate reports and provide analyses on key resource management data.
• Manage reporting and utilization analyses at the business unit level, offering insights to guide strategic business decisions.
• Regularly interact with senior management in human capital, sales, staffing, and business review meetings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition and Contingent Worker teams to address future workforce needs.
• Spearhead strategic workforce planning initiatives for the assigned business unit.
• Utilize responsible AI-enabled methodologies within Resource Management (RM), ensuring decision support is accompanied by human review and validation, while collaborating with RM Operations, Technology & Data COE to prioritize scalable process and technology enhancements that improve insights, quality, and speed.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and operational support to a team of Resource Managers.
• Actively contribute to the development and growth of the overall Resource Management team through cultural initiatives, team development, recruiting, and training programs.
• Maintain a suitable level of confidentiality regarding sensitive employment matters and staff performance histories.
• Work together with other Resource Management team members to fulfill staffing needs across the organization.
• Engage as an active participant in the Resource Management team, identifying and implementing continuous process improvements and standardization across the organization.
• Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the Corporate Vice President of Resource Management to support overall resource management functions.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 6 years of related experience in resource management, HR, talent acquisition, or staffing is required; experience in professional services is strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in managing, coaching, and motivating a team.
• Familiarity with Workday is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated business acumen with a deep understanding of financial, operational, and personnel drivers of performance in a professional services context, including margin, growth, utilization, and capacity trade-offs.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to establish systems that facilitate easy recall of important information.
• Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools and data-driven insights to support enterprise decision-making, with appropriate human oversight, validation, and responsible data management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly and thoughtfully build relationships of trust and confidence across both internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to influence, negotiate, and manage conflict effectively.
• Ability to think critically and strategically to resolve problems with creative, practical, and effective solutions.
• Demonstrate an analytical mindset and strong intellectual curiosity.
• Capability to work independently and remain self-motivated while also excelling as a collaborative team member.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with PowerBI, Visio, Smartsheets, and SharePoint is preferred but not required.
• Comfort in navigating a dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple time-sensitive priorities simultaneously.
