Senior Manager, Business Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and lead a portfolio of critical workstreams and initiatives.

• Convert leadership objectives into actionable plans, coordinate execution among teams, and ensure consistent follow-up.

• Identify obstacles, highlight trade-offs, and assist in prioritization and resource distribution decisions alongside the COO and functional leaders.

• Conduct cross-departmental analyses across Finance, HR, Risk, and other operational areas to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities.

• Manage and enhance core operational mechanisms within the Global Shared Services portfolio.

• Discover and implement practical AI and automation solutions.

• Lead initiatives such as audit follow-ups, compliance enhancements, cost-saving measures, and policy implementations.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the COO and functional leaders.

• A methodical problem-solver with 5–7 years of experience in consulting, strategy, or operations within business or social impact sectors.

• Highly analytical — skilled in using data to diagnose problems, generate insights, and inform decisions.

• A builder and operator — you have successfully led complex, cross-functional projects from start to finish, resulting in measurable improvements in performance or efficiency.

• Systems-oriented — adept at quickly identifying inefficiencies and designing processes, tools, or workflows that enhance team performance at scale.

• A clear and direct communicator — able to simplify complexity and influence senior stakeholders with concise and well-structured ideas.

• An influencer without authority — capable of aligning teams, navigating trade-offs, and advancing work across functions.

• Technically proficient — comfortable with spreadsheets, dashboards, and project management tools; eager to apply AI and automation to address real operational challenges.
