This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Identify and explore new business opportunities within a novel sector.
• Evaluate leads for both their commercial viability and strategic importance.
• Establish and execute strategic alliances with essential players in the industry.
• Collaborate closely with product management and technology teams at ZEISS.
• Design and present engaging presentations to board-level stakeholders and prospective clients.
• Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements.
• Enhance the organization by identifying opportunities for talent development and skill enhancement necessary for AR/VR success.
• Build a network with key internal partners.
• Master's degree in business management, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, key account management, global product management, or leading cross-functional projects.
• Demonstrated success in overseeing complex projects and contract negotiations.
• Background in high-tech, ophthalmic, or innovative sectors (e.g., optics, electronics, or advanced manufacturing).
• Strong strategic negotiation capabilities.
• Sound strategic market and business insight.
• Expertise in commercial account management.
• Proficient networking and relationship-building skills.
• Strong financial analysis and P&L management abilities.
• Experience in cross-functional project management and stakeholder coordination.
• Good knowledge of VIS core products.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain resilient and adaptable in fast-paced and demanding settings.
