This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within an emerging field.
• Evaluate leads to determine their commercial viability and strategic value.
• Establish and execute strategic alliances with prominent industry players.
• Work closely with product management and technology teams at ZEISS.
• Create and present engaging presentations to board members and prospective clients.
• Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements.
• Foster organizational growth by pinpointing opportunities for talent and skills development essential for AR/VR success.
• Build a network with key internal stakeholders.
• Master’s degree in business management, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, key account management, global product management, or cross-functional project leadership.
• Demonstrated success in managing intricate projects and contract negotiations.
• Background in high-tech, ophthalmic, or innovative sectors (e.g., optics, electronics, or advanced manufacturing).
• Proficient strategic negotiation abilities.
• Strong market and business insight.
• Experience in commercial account management.
• Excellent relationship-building and networking capabilities.
• Strong financial analysis skills and P&L oversight.
• Competence in cross-functional project management and stakeholder coordination.
• Solid understanding of VIS core product knowledge.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, challenging environments.
• Business fluency in both English and German.
