This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +2 more states.
• Oversees the implementation, execution, and enhancement of automation solutions throughout the healthcare revenue cycle.
• Collaborates closely with operational leaders, IT, analytics, compliance, and stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities for improving efficiency, minimizing manual tasks, increasing accuracy, strengthening controls, and enhancing financial results.
• Accountable for executing automation projects, managing implementation initiatives, supporting process improvement efforts, and ensuring that automation solutions align with business needs.
• Concentrates on automation delivery, stakeholder coordination, vendor collaboration, testing, deployment, and continuous optimization across revenue cycle functions.
• Tracks, projects, and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) related to automation effectiveness, operational efficiency, financial results, and user adoption.
• Fosters strong partnerships across operations, finance, compliance, IT, analytics, and executive leadership.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, information systems, finance, operations, or a related field is required; a master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or related field) is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, process improvement, automation, project management, or related areas.
• 3-5 years of experience leading automation projects, process improvement initiatives, or cross-functional implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle functions, workflows, payer processes, and regulatory factors.
• Proven experience in implementing automation technologies and process improvement initiatives in complex healthcare settings.
• Demonstrated capability to support cross-functional initiatives and work collaboratively with operational, technical, and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with healthcare platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, Meditech, or similar systems is preferred.
• Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or related certifications are preferred.
• Experience in supporting AI-enabled workflow automation or process transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements, including HIPAA and CMS regulations, is preferred.
