• Take full ownership of the sales funnel and revenue objectives for the annuities division, functioning as a proactive player-coach who engages in sales, coaching, and weekly execution oversight.
• Develop and expand a high-performing team of licensed sales and operations professionals by implementing rigorous coaching routines, establishing clear performance metrics, and creating effective playbooks to enhance closing rates.
• Actively participate as a hands-on player-coach, driving sales and coaching initiatives to achieve weekly execution goals.
• Design and oversee the entire operational framework—including licensing, suitability, rollovers, and commissions—to guarantee a smooth and efficient customer experience.
• Leverage customer insights and unit economics to influence product and portfolio strategies; transform findings into educational requirements, quoting processes, electronic applications, and servicing protocols.
• Collaborate with Marketing to shape the go-to-market strategy; refine the connection between lead quality, scripts, and funnel modifications.
• Develop coaching routines (call reviews, shadowing sessions, certifications) that consistently enhance closing rates and build customer trust.
• Create and implement scalable operational processes covering everything from application handling to policy administration, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience on our platform.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to cultivate a data-driven culture of high performance and accountability within both sales and operations.
• A successful salesperson with extensive expertise in the annuities market and a proven history of surpassing personal and team quotas in a consultative, compliance-focused environment.
• 7−12+ years of experience leading inside sales and operations teams, recognized for recruiting top talent, creating effective playbooks, and rapidly enhancing performance.
• Must possess an active Life & Annuity producer license, maintain current NAIC training, and be fully prepared to handle live calls and close business from day one.
• Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end annuity process, including suitability reviews, replacements/rollovers, funding, and post-issue servicing.
• An analytical operator proficient in forecasting, pipeline management, and modern CRM/telephony systems, with the capability to convert data into actionable insights.
• An exceptional hands-on coach and writer, skilled at developing effective scripts and training materials that significantly enhance team performance.
• A natural collaborator who leverages data and customer insights to influence Product, Marketing, and Engineering initiatives.
• Excels in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with a strong inclination towards action and a sense of ownership to establish our platform as a category leader.
