Senior Manager – Analytics Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the team tasked with establishing a reliable data foundation that facilitates decision-making throughout the organization.

• Supervise a group of analytics engineers who convert raw data into scalable, dependable, and well-governed data models.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Data Science, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to shape our data strategy.

• Strike a balance between technical excellence and business impact, aiding the organization in becoming increasingly data-driven while fostering a high-performing and inclusive team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 11 years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, data engineering, or related disciplines.

• More than 3 years of experience managing high-performing technical teams, nurturing and developing talent.

• Extensive expertise in SQL and contemporary analytics engineering methodologies.

• Proven experience in constructing analytics platforms utilizing DBT, Snowflake, Airflow, or equivalent orchestration tools.

• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows, as well as BI platforms.

• Strong comprehension of dimensional modeling, semantic layers, and data warehousing principles.

• Experience in defining data governance, testing, and data quality frameworks.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Proven track record of influencing technical strategy across various organizations.
