
Senior Manager, Analytics – Corporate Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee and take charge of quantitative analysis and data management efforts throughout Corporate Development.
• Deliver strategic analytical guidance that includes the development of advanced analytical tools.
• Generate regular reports detailing portfolio performance, model outputs, and critical risk metrics across mortgage portfolios.
• Conduct back testing and validation of current models.
• Collaborate with senior team members to assess assets and aid in the financial modeling needed for investment and capital market decisions.
• Revise model methodology, assumptions, and documentation for internal use and audit requirements.
• Lead cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing data workflows, database architecture, and reporting processes.
• Drive and contribute to continuous process improvements, automation initiatives, and enhancements in data infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 7-10+ years of experience in data analysis, finance, or a similar analytical position.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in a people management or team leadership role.
• A fundamental understanding of mortgage products, including reverse and/or forward mortgages, is necessary.
• Familiarity with securitization, structured finance, or fixed income products is required.
• Proficient in SQL and experienced in working with databases.
• Experience with Python, Excel, and other analytical tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to work with large datasets and conduct data validation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate findings and collaborate effectively within a team setting.
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical and financial modeling skills.
