This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more states.
• Oversee the complete development process of the AI platform and customer interactions, from planning to implementation.
• Collaborate with engineers on prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails, ensuring a balance between latency, cost, and accuracy.
• Interpret technical concepts for both the engineering team and the wider organization.
• Establish best practices and standards for the AI platform.
• Enhance answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through experimental initiatives.
• Collaborate with OpenAI partners to assess and implement cutting-edge voice models and workflow automation.
• Manage the cohesive roadmap and strategic direction for customer-facing chatbots, vehicle photo validation, back-office automation, voicebots, computer-use applications, and consumer AI solutions.
• Report directly to the COO, playing a vital role in driving growth.
• A minimum of 4 years in a technical position, such as forward-deployed engineering, technical product management, or a comparable role in a fast-paced startup environment.
• A strong passion and curiosity for AI systems, particularly modern LLMs.
• Proven experience in transforming complex strategic concepts into scalable, production-ready products.
• In-depth knowledge of AI platform development and customer-facing AI experiences.
• Experience with API design and system architecture.
• Familiarity with SQL and data analysis methodologies.
• Capability to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails.
• Proficient in navigating technical trade-offs and enforcing AI platform standards.
• Must currently reside in an eligible state: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada.
