Senior Manager – Agency Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Directly oversee and nurture the members of the Agency Development team by offering coaching, performance assessments, and support for career advancement.

• Take ownership of implementing departmental initiatives, converting strategic priorities into well-structured plans, timelines, and deliverables.

• Create and sustain scalable programs for onboarding, training, and managing the advisor lifecycle across the team's various functions.

• Act as a strategic collaborator with the Director on initiatives related to Expansion, Member Success, Booking Support, and Business Growth.

• Lead special projects, including structuring membership plans, developing pricing strategies, and redesigning programs from the planning stage to rollout.

• Represent Agency Development in interdepartmental collaborations, ensuring alignment with Marketing, Finance, and Product teams.

• Manage performance reporting and KPI tracking across the department, identifying trends and proposing actionable insights.

• Implement structured goal-setting frameworks and ensure team leads are held accountable for achieving measurable results.

• Identify operational inefficiencies and develop the necessary processes, tools, and documentation to address them.

• Optimize WorldVia's CRM and reporting systems (including HubSpot) to enhance departmental visibility and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create classification structures, dashboards, and workflows that adapt as the business scales.

• Assess new tools and technologies to enhance the advisor experience and boost team productivity.

• Serve as a point of escalation for complex or sensitive member situations, balancing advocacy, policy adherence, and business risks.

• Build trusted relationships with high-value members and advisor groups, strengthening WorldVia's reputation for advisor-first support.

• Work alongside team leads to address issues that necessitate cross-functional or executive-level judgment.

• Formulate and implement strategies aimed at enhancing advisor retention, satisfaction, and long-term engagement.

• Utilize member feedback and sentiment analysis to proactively detect risks and design targeted interventions.

• Aid in recruiting and expansion efforts by shaping messaging, positioning, and onboarding experiences.

• Regularly report on departmental performance, program results, and growth metrics.

• Analyze data to uncover systemic opportunities and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Prepare materials for town halls, leadership updates, and cross-functional presentations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.

• 5-8 years of experience in the travel industry, encompassing account management, member success, or growth roles.

• At least 2 years of experience in directly managing or developing team members.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from strategic conception to execution.

• Extensive understanding of the travel agency business model and operations of host agencies.

• Proficient in CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot), reporting tools, and performance analytics.

• Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capable of thriving in ambiguous situations, creating structure from fundamental principles, and juggling multiple priorities simultaneously.
