Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Manage and oversee the complete order-to-cash process, encompassing billing, revenue recognition, credit extension, collections, and cash application.

• Supervise the offshore accounts receivable team based in Bangladesh, which includes hiring, training, performance management, and daily oversight.

• Create and implement data-driven strategies for collections, utilizing AI tools when applicable.

• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures to guarantee consistency and quality.

• Ensure accountability for the output, development, and engagement of the offshore team.

• Foster relationships with both internal and external customers.

• Identify and recommend process enhancements to boost efficiency and accuracy.

• Assist in the automation of NetSuite and implementation of HighRadius for collections and cash application.

• Lead the year-end audit activities for Accounts Receivable.

• Report directly to the Controller.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, credit, or collections, with at least 3 years in a management position.

• Familiarity with ASC 606.

• Experience in managing offshore teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Background in a rapidly expanding company with annual gross receipts of $500M–$1B.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate across functions and various organizational levels.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Keen attention to detail while maintaining a comprehensive perspective.

• Proficient with ERP and financial systems; experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with HighRadius is advantageous but not mandatory.
