Accounts Receivable Specialist – Project-Based

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Generate invoices for customers using their vendor portals as well as the ERP system.

• Process and accurately allocate incoming payments across various platforms.

• Track customer accounts for overdue balances and engage with customers for follow-ups.

• Oversee chargebacks and disputes from start to finish, including documentation, submissions, and tracking resolutions.

• Reconcile transactions and revenue from Amazon Seller Central and Merch by Amazon, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success to address billing issues and prevent them.

• Maintain well-organized financial records, prepare aging and reconciliation reports, and assist with audits.

• Support the month-end closing process, cash forecasting, and ongoing enhancement of accounts receivable procedures.

• Contribute to the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or general accounting.

• Strong attention to detail along with excellent organizational capabilities.

• Familiarity with Amazon marketplaces, particularly Seller Central and Merch by Amazon.

• Proven experience in managing chargebacks.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in accounting ERP systems and Excel.

• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Practical skills assessment will be conducted prior to interviews.
