This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise and facilitate daily accounting operations, encompassing general ledger functions, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany and subsidiary transactions, multi-entity consolidation, and timely month-end and period-end closing procedures.
• Offer technical accounting assistance and support in making accounting judgments, which may involve, but are not limited to, revenue recognition, lease accounting, equity-related accounting, stock-based compensation, consolidation, intercompany transactions, and other intricate accounting matters.
• Ensure precise financial reporting and adherence to relevant accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
• Identify and implement process enhancement opportunities to boost the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership and external advisors to facilitate annual audits, tax submissions, technical inquiries, and other external reporting or compliance obligations.
• Coordinate with management and cross-functional teams to assist in accounting policy adherence, financial reporting requirements, and special initiatives.
• Over 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• CPA or equivalent designation is highly preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar large ERP system is mandatory.
• A solid understanding of month-end closing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls is essential.
• Experience with multi-entity and international consolidations, including foreign entities, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency considerations, is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills are required; familiarity with financial reporting and consolidation tools is preferred.
• Prior managerial or supervisory experience is strongly preferred, with the capability to coach, develop, and review the work of accounting team members.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to partner cross-functionally and convey accounting matters clearly.
• Strong work ethic and readiness to exert additional effort to meet deadlines and support business priorities.
• Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
