Junior Accounting Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Process and monitor vendor invoices while assisting with daily Accounts Payable functions.

• Coordinate requests for information and documentation from auditors, tax advisors, and other external consultants.

• Aid in the preparation and submission of state, regulatory, and other mandatory compliance filings.

• Maintain compliance calendars, track upcoming requirements, and ensure key deadlines are met.

• Keep accurate, complete, organized, and audit-ready accounting and compliance records.

• Support accounting and compliance initiatives, process enhancements, and other assigned projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, compliance, or a similar professional setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to maintaining precise and complete records.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Capacity to handle multiple priorities and adhere to established deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external parties.

• Experience in Accounts Payable, accounting operations, regulatory compliance, or audit support.

• Familiarity with coordinating documentation or information requests with auditors, tax advisors, consultants, or other external partners.

• Understanding of compliance calendars, regulatory filings, or deadline-driven financial processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a desire to enhance processes.

• Willingness to learn and broaden knowledge of accounting operations, compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborative, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks.
