This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Take ownership of and oversee a portfolio of intricate, high-value clients, acting as the main strategic liaison and ensuring alignment with the organization’s objectives.
• Spearhead the implementation and ongoing oversight of long-term account strategies, encompassing Strategic Business Plans, Quarterly Business Review (QBR) Summaries, and performance analytics.
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to discover opportunities for cost reduction, service enhancements, clinical advancements, and program growth.
• Facilitate and lead contract renewals, negotiations, and the initiation of new business, ensuring that client commitments and performance guarantees are fulfilled.
• Actively identify, communicate, and execute up-sell and expansion opportunities across both personal and team-managed client portfolios.
• Provide daily leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to ensure uniform client management practices and high standards of service.
• Convert strategy from the Sr. Director into clear priorities, expectations, and execution plans for the team.
• Conduct performance management tasks, including goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback, development planning, and corrective actions when necessary.
• Supervise hiring, onboarding, training, and workforce planning for the team to guarantee adequate coverage and capability.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and client-focused thinking.
• Track and report on team and client performance metrics, ensuring the achievement of service levels, performance guarantees, and financial objectives.
• Offer guidance and leadership when performance guarantees are at risk or unmet, including the development of corrective action plans and client communication strategies.
• Assist with the planning and management of budgets, including staffing, travel, and operational expenses.
• Participate in Sales finalist meetings, client presentations, and new business initiatives as needed.
• Travel to client locations and internal meetings as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the PBM or healthcare sector, managing complex client relationships.
• At least 5 years’ experience in leading, developing, and managing teams, encompassing performance management and talent development, or equivalent experience is required.
• Proven track record in strategic account management, client retention, and growth.
• Strong strategic thinking and execution abilities, with the capacity to translate strategy into measurable results.
