This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• You will be part of a dedicated grantmaking team, contributing to our ambitious research agenda focused on malaria.
• You will evaluate numerous questions we could address and concentrate on those that are most significant.
• You will also engage in external communication regarding your work and provide mentorship and guidance to fellow researchers on the team.
• You will help shape a research agenda that infuses rigor and creativity into the most challenging questions faced by the GiveWell malaria team.
• Your responsibilities will encompass the review of empirical evidence, critical synthesis, cost-effectiveness modeling, discussions with subject matter experts, an understanding of the broader context, and the application of your own judgment.
• An advanced degree with a quantitative focus (e.g., in epidemiology, statistics, economics, or related fields).
• Significant professional experience within the malaria landscape (broadly defined), which may include experience in epidemiological or health economics modeling, as well as program implementation or funding.
• Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance fully funded (covering 100% of premiums within the US for you and any dependents).
