This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Advocating for Akamai's Cloud Computing vision and value proposition with Customers, Partners, and internal Akamai stakeholders.
• Formulating a strategic sales plan that includes market development, partnerships, and product innovation.
• Directing customer engagements that set Akamai's services apart at all levels within enterprise clients.
• Partnering with Akamai Sales and Pre-Sales leaders to create and implement opportunity plans for large enterprise customers.
• Cultivating a comprehensive understanding of Cloud Computing, product development, and go-to-market strategies to excel in Cloud Computing.
• Possess a minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience in Cloud Services Sales (infrastructure or Software) within the B2B Enterprise sector.
• Have a solid understanding of current and emerging cloud technologies.
• Exhibit the capability to collaborate with Partners and Customers in generating sales opportunities.
• Be proficient in executing a sales methodology that challenges conventional approaches and fosters a unique sales experience.
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent.
• Display high ethical standards, integrity, and personal tenacity.
