Senior Mainframe Technical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, execution, and upkeep of essential mainframe systems

• Diagnose intricate problems and provide guidance to junior engineers

• Work in partnership with other IT teams and document technical procedures

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or mainframe platform engineering

• Extensive knowledge of z/OS, DB2, IMS, CICS, MQ, and associated technologies

• Familiarity with automation (IBM Systems Automation) and disaster recovery strategies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
