This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data science teams to comprehend business challenges and explore potential machine learning and AI solutions.
• Create tools and automate manual processes to enhance operational efficiency, accelerate experimentation speed, and reduce human error.
• Construct, integrate, and oversee the end-to-end lifecycles of large-scale, distributed machine learning systems.
• Analyze model performance and pinpoint data quality and performance concerns.
• Improve the ML pipeline for the forecasting platform.
• Oversee weekly automated model retraining and deployment across production models.
• Advance the team's technical expertise in MLOps best practices, automation, and production ML systems.
• Engage in recruiter, hiring manager, and virtual onsite interviews as part of the hiring process.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and maintaining production ML systems.
• In-depth knowledge of MLOps, deployment automation, and model serving infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, including GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Background in infrastructure-as-code, including Terraform and Helm.
• Practical experience in production ML deployment.
• Experience with model training orchestration tools such as Dagster, Airflow, or similar.
• Experience with automated retraining pipelines.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and variant management.
• Expertise in systems design.
• Experience in developing scalable microservices.
• Background in API design.
• Experience in managing complex service dependencies.
• Proven track record of steering projects from concept to production, maintaining them over time, and continuously enhancing system reliability.
• Experience collaborating with data scientists, backend teams, and product teams.
• Ability to write tested, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries (preferred).
• Familiarity with Forecasting / Time Series algorithms (preferred).
• Experience in Computer Vision (preferred).
• Experience with DAG frameworks and Flink (preferred).
