Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of designing and executing data and machine learning pipelines utilizing customer first-party data alongside Vi’s internal data lakehouse.

• Create prototypes for predictive insight products and conduct swift feasibility assessments to explore new commercial possibilities.

• Recognize patterns across customer interactions to develop reusable data capabilities.

• Manage customer data integrations with Vi’s extensive petabyte-scale data lakehouse.

• Transform Vi’s products into efficient, scalable, and automated pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in constructing large-scale data analytics pipelines with Apache Spark.

• Proficient in using Python and AWS technologies for data engineering and machine learning.

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical teams across customer accounts to facilitate data integrations.

• Familiarity with Apache PySpark, Apache Iceberg, AWS EMR, AWS Glue, and Amazon S3.

• Proficient in Python, PyTorch, scikit-learn, XGBoost, CatBoost, and MLflow.

• Experience with AWS SageMaker and Airflow.

• Background in the healthcare and life sciences sector is a plus.

• Knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling techniques, along with experimental design, is advantageous.
