ML Engineering Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop essential machine learning services and enhance the utilization of large language models.

• Create and manage datasets.

• Design, implement, deploy, and maintain machine learning models in a production environment.

• Assess and refine large language models.

• Engage in structured data extraction, summarization, search ranking, recommendation, categorization, knowledge graphs, ontologies, and text generation.

• Enhance the accuracy and loading efficiency of people and company profile pages.

• Create innovative research experiences for individuals and organizations.

• Make strategic architectural decisions for the long term.

• Collect datasets from both the platform and the web.

• Stay informed about advancements in machine learning, large language models, and natural language processing research.

• Collaborate closely with the CTO and technical team to design, implement, and oversee robust AI-based systems.

• Address issues, optimize performance, and enhance reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, emphasizing machine learning.

• Strong grasp of recent advancements in natural language processing, including transformers, language models, question answering, and information retrieval.

• Capability to work independently as the sole machine learning engineer within a team.

• Experience in training and deploying models within production systems.

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and creativity in tackling technical challenges.

• Ability to operate autonomously in a dynamic startup environment.

• Familiarity with production systems in Node.js / Typescript (preferred).

• Experience in leading and managing machine learning teams (preferred).

• Background in serving models on cloud platforms, such as AWS Sagemaker (preferred).

• Experience working with unstructured web scraping data (preferred).
