This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and execute generative AI applications utilizing large language models such as GPT-4, Claude, and Llama.
• Enhance neural networks for natural language processing and machine perception.
• Implement convolutional and transformer-based models, student-teacher frameworks, distillation, and generative adversarial networks.
• Train, fine-tune, evaluate, and deploy models for practical applications.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to collect and prepare data.
• Design custom layers for model architectures.
• Automate the deployment of models.
• Explore new technologies and engage in continuous learning.
• Write production-ready code.
• Develop comprehensive tests.
• Work alongside platform, security, release engineering, and support teams to deliver and manage AI/ML products.
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) with two years of work experience, or enrolled in a Master's degree program with no work experience required.
• Relevant education and experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Expected to maintain enrollment in the degree program after completing the internship.
• Proficient in backend development using Go or Python, demonstrated through a technical assessment, coding challenge, or code sample.
• Familiarity with LLM infrastructure and optimization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with model building and AI or LLM tasks, supported by a portfolio, code samples, technical evaluations, or documentation from academic/research projects.
• Preferred: experience with inference engines such as vLLM, Triton, or TorchServe.
• Preferred: knowledge of GPU architecture, optimization strategies, distributed systems, and asynchronous programming models.
• Preferred: experience with agent frameworks and cloud-native platforms.
• Preferred: understanding of cybersecurity principles and Python programming, including common AI libraries.
• Preferred: exposure to scalable computing environments and secure, efficient AI deployment practices.
