This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.
• Enhance the recommendation system of the Interactive Learning Plugin.
• Create more personalized strategies for candidate selection, ranking, sequencing, and next-best-action recommendations.
• Construct and manage applied models.
• Develop, validate, version, monitor, and refine models utilized by the recommendation system.
• Establish what constitutes recommendation quality.
• Create offline, online, and longitudinal metrics for evaluating recommendation performance.
• Implement incremental enhancements.
• Leverage existing data and infrastructure while pinpointing the instrumentation and platform capabilities necessary for future growth.
• Collaborate across various disciplines.
• Work closely with software engineers and data analysts to productionize models and ensure their safe integration into the recommender service.
• Collaborate with the Product Analytics team on defining metrics, instrumentation, data quality, dashboards, and conducting experiment analysis.
• Experience in recommendation and personalization science: you have developed systems for recommendation, ranking, searching, matching, propensity, or next-best-action. You are adept at starting with straightforward, explainable methods when they are the most effective way to learn.
• Proficiency with HTTP/gRPC, streaming, and Go/TypeScript, along with prior experience in distributed systems.
• Ownership of applied models. You have personally constructed, validated, monitored, and iterated on models used in a product or operational context. You can effectively collaborate in version-controlled codebases with engineers during production implementation.
