Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and enhance scalable Machine Learning models for advertising intelligence and predictive systems.

• Examine extensive historical and real-time datasets to boost forecasting precision and monetization tactics.

• Construct and sustain distributed data processing pipelines utilizing Spark and associated Big Data technologies.

• Develop production-ready ML solutions utilizing Python within the AWS cloud framework.

• Investigate, assess, and apply Machine Learning algorithms that are appropriate for high-load AdTech environments.

• Enhance model performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Product Managers, and distributed engineering teams to provide comprehensive ML solutions.

• Contribute to ML architectural decisions, experimentation methodologies, and engineering best practices.

• Oversee, validate, and enhance ML model quality and forecasting effectiveness in production settings.

• Generate technical documentation pertaining to ML pipelines, models, and distributed systems.

• Mentor engineers and facilitate technical development within the team.

• Promote innovation in Machine Learning and AdTech technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of commercial experience in Machine Learning and Big Data engineering.

• Extensive hands-on experience with the implementation of machine learning algorithms using Python.

• Demonstrated experience with Apache Spark and large-scale distributed data processing.

• Familiarity with distributed messaging systems such as Kafka.

• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.

• Background in designing and developing large-scale distributed or mission-critical systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to work autonomously and take charge of intricate technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.

• WILL BE A PLUS: Experience with Golang.

• Experience in AdTech, online advertising, or media platforms.

• Familiarity with forecasting systems or recommendation engines.

• Experience in optimizing ML models for large-scale production environments.
