Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and execute comprehensive machine learning systems, encompassing data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, and model deployment.

• Create and implement scalable AI services that cater to both real-time and batch inference applications.

• Develop and sustain machine learning infrastructure across various cloud platforms (e.g., EC2, EKS, SageMaker, specialized inference hardware).

• Innovate and enhance MLOps platforms, which include training pipelines, deployment processes, feature stores, and model observability.

• Apply CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code methodologies to streamline model lifecycle management.

• Enhance model training and inference efficiencies concerning cost, latency, and hardware utilization.

• Oversee production machine learning systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and operational integrity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in data engineering, architecture, governance, and security to deliver compliant and scalable solutions.

• Guide team members on machine learning engineering, system architecture, and operational best practices.

• Participate in special projects that foster the advancement of AI platform capabilities and engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in developing and managing machine learning solutions within cloud environments, emphasizing AI services and MLOps principles.

• Proven hands-on experience in delivering end-to-end machine learning systems, covering model creation, deployment, and production infrastructure.

• Expertise in contemporary machine learning engineering tools, including cloud services, data pipelines, and CI/CD processes.
