Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

• Analyze ambiguous requirements and create models to address real-world challenges.

• Perform machine learning experiments utilizing programming languages equipped with ML libraries.

• Utilize generative AI to craft innovative solutions.

• Enhance machine learning solutions for optimal performance and scalability.

• Develop customized machine learning code tailored to specific requirements.

• Guarantee smooth data flow between databases and backend infrastructures.

• Automate machine learning workflows with an emphasis on testing, reproducibility, and the storage of features/metadata.

• Design machine learning architectures using Google Cloud tools and services.

• Construct and deploy production-level software for machine learning and data-driven initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, ideally with a consulting background.

• Expertise in Python as a backend programming language, capable of producing production-ready code within well-tested CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.

• Practical experience with fundamental software engineering practices.

• In-depth understanding of SQL for data querying and management.

• Experience in scaling computations utilizing GPUs or distributed computing systems.

• Familiarity with making machine learning components accessible through web services or wrappers (e.g., Flask in Python).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate technical concepts.
