Senior M365 Power Platform Engineer, SharePoint, Power Platform, Copilot

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create and develop enterprise solutions utilizing SharePoint Online (modern sites, lists, libraries, and web parts), Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate (both cloud and desktop flows), and Power BI interactive dashboards.

• Construct reusable components to enhance delivery speed.

• Integrate Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions with external systems using RESTful APIs, standard connectors, and Azure services (such as Azure Functions and Logic Apps), ensuring the establishment of robust, scalable architectures that fulfill security and compliance standards.

• Utilize Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI Builder to automate content creation, streamline workflows, and embed intelligent insights within business applications.

• Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to pinpoint automation opportunities.

• Develop and uphold Power BI reports and dashboards that consolidate data from various sources. Guarantee data accuracy, implement governance best practices, and enhance solutions for optimal performance.

• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT team members to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and mentor junior developers.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and application lifecycle management (ALM) practices for Power Platform solutions, overseeing deployments across environments in accordance with enterprise governance and compliance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience), along with 3+ years of professional experience in developing Microsoft 365 or Power Platform solutions.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate (cloud flows and automated workflows), Power BI (dashboards and reports), and SharePoint Online (sites, lists, libraries, and SPFx customizations).

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills coupled with experience in integrating RESTful APIs and Microsoft Graph to link external data and services into Microsoft 365 solutions.

• Some knowledge of Azure services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps) and Microsoft Dataverse for application data storage and management.

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot features and AI Builder for AI-driven automation; familiarity with prompt engineering or Azure OpenAI integration is an advantage.

• DevOps experience utilizing Azure DevOps or GitHub for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments within a Power Platform or Microsoft 365 environment.
