Senior LTD Claims Case Manager III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Accountable for making precise decisions on assigned claims through proactive case management.

• Collaborates with team members, as well as the Clinical and Vocational Teams, to support claimants in their return-to-work initiatives.

• Provides timely and appropriate decisions regarding disability claims.

• Works alongside colleagues to expand and enhance their understanding of complex claim management.

• Manages claims across a spectrum of group sizes, from small to large markets.

• Analyzes integrated income to guarantee accurate financial risk assessment and payment accuracy.

• Consults with legal, investigative resources, and financial experts.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of experience in Long Term Disability claims.

• A four-year college degree is preferred, or equivalent work/educational experience.

• Experience in Regulatory and Compliance is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Capacity to exercise independent and sound judgment in decision-making.

• Ability to examine evidence for inconsistencies.

• Proficient in conducting research using various techniques.

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

• Skilled in multitasking and managing ever-changing priorities.

• Self-driven and capable of working independently.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple professional disciplines and diverse populations.

• Basic computer proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and medical conditions is advantageous.
